Job Description: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Location: 119-Southern Utah Veterans Home - Ivins, St. George, UT, 84738 Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and will be responsible for administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring resident health status. The LPN will also assist with resident care planning and documentation.

Responsibilities: Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician Monitor resident health status and report changes to the RN Assist with resident care planning and documentation Provide direct resident care as needed Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members Adhere to facility policies and procedures Participate in continuing education and training Qualifications: Current LPN license in the state of Utah Experience in long-term care preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize and multitask Basic computer skills
