Job Description​Manage and maintain the surgical schedule, ensuring optimal utilization of operating rooms and resources.Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to schedule surgeries, ensuring compatibility with their availability and patient needs.Gather and verify necessary patient information, including medical history, insurance coverage, and necessary pre-operative procedures.Communicate with patients, providing detailed instructions regarding surgery preparation, including fasting guidelines, medication restrictions, and pre-operative testing requirements.Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and accommodate urgent or emergency surgical cases as needed.Stay knowledgeable about advancements in surgical techniques, technology, and regulatory changes related to scheduling and patient care.

Skills  Preferred

Previous experience as a surgical scheduler or in a healthcare administrative role is highly desirable.In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, medical terminology, and relevant healthcare regulations.
