Job Summary:

The Occupational Health Services LPN provides onsite promotion and restoration of health and the prevention/treatment of illness and injury.

\n

 Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

\n\nInteracts positively and professionally with applicants, employees and leaders pertaining to OHS services and functions\nProvide medical care and first aid in accordance with Protocols and Standing Orders within the scope of practice for licensure\nProvide health appropriate evaluations and treatment for work and non-work related injuries and illnesses\nAssist with case management strategies for work related injuries and illnesses\nAids in the coordination of medical claims adjusters, medical providers, workers’ compensation\nMaintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep\nServe as part of the on-call weekend/holiday rotation for OHS\nParticipate in Safety, Health Services, and Human Resources projects within the facility

 Education & Experience:

\n\nCurrent unrestricted LPN (License Practical Nurse) license to practice professional nursing in North Carolina or a compact state required\nCurrent certification in First Aid, CPR and AED required\n1 year experience in health care preferred\nBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred\n\n
