POSITION DETAILS DOC is seeking highly motivated individuals to deliver care for to our inmate population and assist them in their rehabilitation. You will work with a hardworking multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest level of care across a diverse population in our rare environment. These positions will work 16 hours per pay period on second or third shift and must work one weekend shift a month and one major holiday. It serves superior courts in Danielson, New London, Norwich and Windham. The York Correctional Institution is a high-security facility. It serves as the state's only institution for female offenders. It serves all superior courts in Connecticut and manages all pretrial and sentenced female offenders, whatever their security level.
