The Watermark at Bellingham is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor at our newly renovated retirement community located in beautiful West Chester, PA! This is a full-time, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. opportunity within our Personal Care community.
Job Specifics:Assist the Personal Care Director with assessment, reviewing of medications and treatment orders, and overall resident careKnowledgeable of personal care regulationsSupervision of associates, including hiring, development and evaluating Admit, transfer and discharge residentsAssist and accompany physician on roundsAssist with ongoing therapeutic management of residentsCoordinate & facilitate medical follow-up and implementation of medical careInitiate care plans and make changesComplete accident/incident reportsMake shift entries, record on physician’s order form, and transcribe physician orders to appropriate location (MAR, TAR, Dietary, etc.)Participate in Quality Assurance programsParticipate in resident teaching activitiesContribute to a positive working environmentWhat you will need for this position:Current LPN licensureKnowledge of state regulationsDemonstrated excellent observational and communication skills, good nursing judgment, supervisory skills, and the ability to direct Caregivers and Med TechsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and online systems Click here to see a full list of our amazing benefits!
