Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, Remote
Pay Range: $40/hr. - $42.96/hr.Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:Responsibilities: Education: a licensed physical, occupational or speech therapist Customer Care and Satisfaction - Healthcare Utilization Management - The Prior Authorization THERAPIST is responsible for reviewing requests and determining medical necessity based on standard policies and procedures as well as their clinical expertise and knowledge.Basic Qualifications:
Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapist Degree from an approved accredited school. Must meet Texas Licensure requirements for practicing in related fields and possess a current and unrestricted PT, OT, or ST license from the State of Texas. Minimum of 2 years post licensure experience in the area of licensure in a hospital, clinic, or agency with the pediatric population.Preferred Qualifications
Proficient analysis and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient critical clinical thinking skills. Must be able to communicate in English verbal written. Basic computer knowledge with the ability to learn additional computer programs, required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
