BayView Professional Associates help individuals and families dealing with emotional or psychological issues that interfere with their ability to function in their day-to-day living. Our professional clinicians assess our patients’ concerns and then determine the appropriate treatment or referral. The Bayview Therapist utilizes best practice clinical interventions to address both mental health and substance abuse problems.  Through various psychotherapeutic strategies the clinician and the client engage to provide relief from their presenting symptoms.

Responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities:

Performs psychological evaluations under the supervision of a Ph.D PsychologistReviews referrals for psychological testing determining appropriateness for this servicesDetermines appropriate testing instrumentsApplies tests according to professional standardsMakes accurate interpretation based on test dataAnalyzes and integrates all testing data into a summary indicating all aspects of consumers’ functioningAddresses the problems, questions and issues identified by the referring sourceUtilizes data analysis to generate practical recommendations to the referral sourceDemonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situationEffectively collaborates with the treatment team members and outside sources in the delivery of psychological assessment servicesAdheres to professional code of ethicsEffectively demonstrates the application of child/adolescent specific competencies Qualifications

Master’s degree in psychology with licensure and/or certification that grants eligibility to provide standardized psychodiagnostic testing.
