This is an exciting opportunity to engage in professional work, providing psychological services at Selinsgrove Center. In this key role, you will independently deliver specialized services across clinical, vocational, rehabilitation, educational, and habilitation areas for individuals with developmental disabilities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assess individuals' psychological strengths and challenges through a variety of methods, including reviewing medical and social case histories, conducting personal interviews, and observing the individual's behavior, emotional state, and physical condition. You will select, administer, and interpret a wide range of psychological tests to diagnose psychological disorders and develop treatment plans. You will work closely with psychiatric or medical professionals and other team members to create individualized treatment plans. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate in developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive treatment plans that align with established diagnoses and adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and clinical standards. You will utilize various psychological techniques to treat psychological disorders, aiming to modify behavior and improve individuals' adjustments. In this capacity, you will make independent, clinical-level decisions based on best practices and accepted methods.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
+ Work hours are 1st shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Overtime and travel: As needed
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Special Requirement:
+ This position requires the possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
Other Requirements:

+ You must pass a background investigation.
+ A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
