People obsessed with pets and their care Dedicated experts who want to provide world-class medicine Collaborators who enjoy teaching others and working as a team Curious lifelong learners who want to grow and thrive for a dynamic and fulfilling career Empathetic partners who develop strong client and Associate relationships built on trust Key Responsibilities:Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including administering treatments, medications, and monitoring their recovery.Anesthesia and Surgery: Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, and post-operative care.Diagnostics: Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs, ensuring accurate results and timely processing.Client Education: Engage with clients to provide clear communication on their pets’ health, treatment plans, and preventive care.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor junior staff and help foster a collaborative, positive work environment. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to grow your leadership skills and potentially lead teams or projects.Technician Utilization: Play a pivotal role in all areas of patient care, from routine exams to critical care cases, ensuring your technical skills are fully utilized.

Compensation:
Pay range is $ 27 - 30 / hr and we pay a $2hr shift differential for the weekends. Negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.

Qualifications
A Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT), or eligible to sit for the VTNE degreeA commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
