VCA RIVER is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVMT) or license-eligible technician to join the Emergency & Critical Care team at our AAHA-accredited emergency and referral hospital in Chattanooga, TN.

We are home to a wonderful team of specialists, technicians, and support staff, with services including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Physical Rehabilitation, Diagnostic Imaging, Ophthalmology, and 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care. We have opportunities available in emergency and specialty!

About the Role

You will support our 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care service by providing advanced nursing care, diagnostics and treatments for our patients. Skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

Compassionate inpatient and outpatient careClient care and educationTriage and patient assessmentSurgery assisting & anesthesiaDiagnostic imagingLaboratory sample collection and processingPharmacyCatheter placement, IV fluids setup and administration, infusions, etc.Medical recordkeeping
