Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse for their Denton, TX location. Responsibilities: + The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Denton State Supported Living Center performs advanced vocational nursing work. + Provides for the care, treatment, and general welfare of individuals residing at the State Supported Living Center who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health and/or behavioral health issues. + Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation. + Perform computer data entry – Receive full training. + Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, ICF-IDD Regulations, DSSLC Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives. + We require agency nurses to have at least 2 years’ experience as the licensed professional they are applying for. For example, an LVN that has just completed RN school must have 2+ years of experience as an RN when applying for that sort of position. Requirements: + Must have at least 2 years’ experience + Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements. + Must submit to HHSC required drug test. + Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting. + Must complete facility and HHSC required training.
