Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)— Emergency Dept (ED) _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 WORK HOURS: Full Time Mid-shift (12P-12A) for 36 hrs./ week. Here’s what you will need: * Graduate of an Accredited Vocational Nursing Program required * Six (6) months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR Residency program required * LVN—Licensed Vocational Nurse—Upon hire required * BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support—Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required What will you do: * Collaborate with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiate action to meet patient needs * Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks * Collects Data and reports significant findings to RN * Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate implement and revise plan of care to meet patient, physician, and family needs.
