This unit primarily cares for cardiac and neurological diagnosis patients and all of our patients are on cardiac monitoring. Our LVN duties include, but are not limited to: + cardiac maintenance or titratable drip care + provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care + meet the communication needs of the patient and family + communicate to the RN about changes in patients’ clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring and results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology + able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment + performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse Qualifications Education and Work Experience + current and valid Texas state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse + current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current + ACLS (AHA), preferred + IV certification, required + one year experience in an applicable setting, preferred #LI-MB4 Connect With Us!
