The Licensed Vocational Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
Qualifications Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse in the state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required. Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required. Experience: One year of inpatient behavioral health nursing experience preferred but not required.
