This position is a TWA where you will work 80-90% of the schedule in Allen Park, MI. 

You’ll have: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field with automotive experience. 
•    Previous experience with finance or accounting.
•    Knowledge and Previous experience with contract/agreement creation and management. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently & manage multiple complex projects 
•    Strong communication skills and experience within the area of legal/business documentation (contracts, licensees, purchase orders, statements of work, etc.)
•    Well-established writing & presentation skills
•    Strong analytical skills & strategic mindset
•    Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Demonstrated problem-solving skills & comfort with “white space” initiatives Demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks and meet deadlines 100% of the time. Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Identifying & coordinating licensing opportunities for Ford’s Intellectual Property in the areas of Service/Repair, Technical Training, and Diagnostic Data. 

Assisting in developing and maintaining relationships with multiple licensees (approx. 80) across several areas of the SEO Business (Repair/Service Products, Dealer Management Systems, Collision, etc.). Facilitate two-way communications of business needs and issues.  Verifying & tracking adherence to contractual elements including terms & conditions, reporting requirements, royalty payment submissions.  Managing monthly Royalty finance and reconciliation process. Ensuring timely collection of all quarterly licensee royalty payments; verify accuracy of payments. Working with SEO Finance, & Global Cash Operations/Treasury to collect to ensure appropriate accounting/tracking of payments. Managing new licensee request process; coordinate the receipt, review, and dispositioning of new data/IP license requests from external companies.  Assisting with maintaining & reconciling financial reports, records, and notes in accordance with the Ford Record Retention Policy. Assisting in establishing processes & procedures with the SEO Licensing Group. Collaborating with cross-functional Ford organizations including SEO Finance, Global Cash Operations, Ford Global Technologies Limited (FGTL), Dealer Connectivity & Data Services (DCDS), Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L), and various other Ford organizations.  Analyzing financial or other information to understand, plan, and implement key financial actions that will identify potential profit, savings, or other opportunities within Licensing as well as forecasting for future business years.  Authoring/updating ew license agreements as required.  Providing support for other Licensing and or Publications functions as needed.
