Licensing Manager, Softlines (Preschool Brands)

  

 

Overview:

 

Join the Paramount Consumer Products team and work with iconic Paramount preschool properties as Licensing Manager, Softlines! In this role, the Manager will oversee and grow licensed partnerships to ensure the successful development, launch, and maximization of products. This position will develop quarterly revenue estimates and budgets, negotiate, and implement deals with licensees, and manage and grow our existing account base. They will also drive collaboration with cross-functional partners to ensure successful development and implementation of category business initiatives. The Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Licensing.

  Responsibilities:

 

Provide support, information and materials for licensees in order to optimize development of new products and continued retail expansion of existing products Work with internal legal teams on drafting EOIs and amending and executing vendor contracts Negotiate and complete deals with new vendors and current licensees Analyze and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers Work closely with the following departments: CP LOBs, Franchise, Press, Creative, Finance, Operations, Standards, and Legal to facilitate the best possible support of Paramount franchises Work together with Retail Development and Marketing teams to ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year Communicate daily with Global Creative Group to handle all product approvals and any rush requests Assist with development of plans and strategies to grow business and yearly revenue by handling existing partnerships and outreach to secure new business Assist with forecast analysis by quarter and ensure regular and timely financial reporting New licensee set up including Deal Memo set up, D&B health checks, and Creative 101’s   Basic Qualifications:

 

5+ years in a licensing/marketing sales role   Additional Qualifications:

 

Category experience with apparel/accessories strongly preferred Strong written and oral communication skills Strong time management skills and organization Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Goal setter - meets department objectives and develops operational plans and processes Proactive – takes initiative on building both internal and external relationships Leader as well as great teammate Creative problem solver, passionate about the entertainment industry Social media savvy

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

 

Hiring Salary Range: $75,000.00 - 100,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
