Licensure Coordinator
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Licensure Coordinator in the healthcare and social assistance industry. This position is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and involves working in a hospital setting. Responsibilities: • Review and approve clinician demographics entered into the user interface • Prepare and print new license applications • Communicate with clinicians regarding missing information or inconsistencies in a timely manner • Prepare application mailings • Conduct a full quality assurance review of clinician applications returned to the department • Secure license payment funding on behalf of clinicians • Submit applications, including payment and other required supporting documents • Follow up on outstanding applications submitted to the State board • Monitor aging reports and take appropriate action with the State board and/or clinician • Process online payment requests and manual check payment requests • Perform primary source verification by accessing individual State board websites • Undertake special assignments, including monthly interaction audits and State board reporting • Support special accreditation applications such as URAQ and JCAHO • Onboard clinicians into clinical licensure systems • Work independently, and may coordinate others' activities • Meet business demands and deadlines in a frequently changing environment. Requirements • Proven experience in Customer Service within the Healthcare industry is required. • Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. • Ability to generate accurate Reports on a regular basis is necessary. • Familiarity with standard Procedures in a hospital or social assistance environment is needed. • Experience with Payment Processing and related tasks is a must. • Commitment to Quality and continuous improvement in all tasks is required. • Proficiency in Database management and usage is essential. • Knowledge of Insurance policies and procedures related to healthcare is required. • Familiarity with the software 'About Time' is a plus. • Prior experience in Auditing within a healthcare setting is preferred. • Demonstrated Leadership Skills, preferably in a healthcare or social assistance context, are necessary. • Experience with Website management or development is beneficial. • Knowledge of Clinical Trial Operations is a significant advantage. • Prior experience working with or in a C-Suite environment is preferred. • Understanding of Quality Assurance practices within the healthcare industry is required. • Ability to conduct Cost Analysis and manage budgets is essential. • Experience in handling Missing Invoices and related issues is necessary. • Knowledge of the programming language 'R Code' is a plus. • Willingness to work Onsite in a healthcare or hospital setting is required. • Solid understanding of Health Care practices and principles is essential. • Familiarity with UI (User Interface) design or development is beneficial. • Experience working with Offshore teams is a plus. • Understanding of Loan Renewal Processes within a healthcare context is beneficial. • Knowledge of Demographics and how they relate to healthcare services is required.
