The Life Cycle Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to evaluate products’ environmental impacts from cradle to grave. This role involves analyzing materials, processes, and transportation of products through their entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to end-of-life disposal. As part of the Product Stewardship team, the Life Cycle Analyst will support sustainability initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve the environmental performance of products. This role provide broad support from commercial need to design and development processes and other sustainability initiatives, across for new and existing products and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed LCAs for products, including data collection, modeling, and analysis.

Evaluate the environmental impacts of products at each stage of their life cycle, including raw material extraction, manufacturing, distribution, use, and end-of-life disposal.

Utilize LCA software tools (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi) to perform assessments and generate reports.

Stay updated on relevant environmental regulations, standards, and best practices related to LCA and product sustainability.

Ensure LCA methodologies and practices comply with international standards (e.g., ISO 14040/14044).

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of LCA activities.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in LCA methodologies and tools.

Collect and manage data related to product life cycles, including material composition, energy use, emissions, and waste.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all LCA projects.

Analyze LCA results to identify key environmental hotspots and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare and present LCA findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Develop clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations to communicate LCA results.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LCA insights into product development and sustainability strategies.

Skills & Experience:

2+ years of experience in conducting Life Cycle Assessments or related sustainability analysis.

Proficiency in LCA software tools (e.g., SimaPro, GaBi).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards related to LCA.

Strong “consultant” skills, including ability to influence and motivate leaders and employees through collaborative engagement and building/maintaining relationships.

Ability to successfully work in a team environment across multi-site organizations.

Qualifications/Education:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.

Post-graduate degree (MS, MBA, PhD) is preferred.

Certification in LCA or related sustainability credentials is a plus.
