Your role and responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Life Cycle Services Manager - Operational Excellence to join our team at ABB Oy, Process Industries division. This role can be located in Helsinki, Varkaus, Oulu , Pirkkala or Lappeenranta. In this position you will be a key member in our global team for servicing and delivering system support for Pulp & Paper MES software at named customer plants or as SaaS subscriptions. You will ensure successful handover from Project Operations to Services and facilitate successful on-boarding of digital solutions into the customer business environment together with its subsequent operations and maintenance. You will make sure that all resources for service software are on budget and according to the service agreements as well as ensure that support, services delivery mechanisms and content meet the expectations of the customers.In this role you will be cooperating with the team to perform a variety of software services tasks in your assigned area of software lifecycle services, support and maintenance. You will also develop lifecycle services practices and tools as well as contribute to the software product roadmap through systematic records of identified software issues. You will also manage the end-to-end technical services sales sup-port in close coordination with Sales and Customer Success Management to identify the customer’s needs, as well as develop, demonstrate and articulate the features of the lifecycle services content and how it can best suit customer needs.You will be mainly accountable for:• Ensuring close collaboration with other software lifecycle teams, sales, Customer Success Management, product management and development teams for future planning, feature development, and support of lifecycle services deliverables• Ensuring management of customer expectations and building sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention in close coordination with Sales and Customer Success Managers• Driving consistent development of digital solutions, processes and client requirements and making sure customer needs are met in a timely manner• Ensuring that the respective area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and managed
Qualifications for the roleAbility to demonstrate thorough proficiency in respective aspects of software service management with good overall understanding of Pulp and Paper MES market Sound knowledge of System Support and Project Management operations B.Sc. or higher in a relevant field, e.g. Software Engineering or a relevant, substantial work history Extensive knowledge of Relational and Process History Databases and MES solutions The ability to head cross-functional and international teams and manage multiple demands on your time A collaborative, solution and customer service focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills The ability to communicate fluently with Finnish and English (written and spoken) are necessary in this role SAP or similar financial system operating skills and experience of utilizing global resources and teams
