Wage determinations will be based on similar experiences.

The Life Enrichment Assistant role supports the planning and implementation of quality leisure/social/therapuetic event programs designed to assist senior Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in maintaining their personal potential physically, socially, and mentally. Located at Pillars of Lakeville in Lakeville, MN.

 

This Activity Assistant position includes:

40 hours per two week pay periodRotating weekendsDay/evening shiftBenefit eligible; https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits  (paid time off, medical, dental, college funds, matching retirement, wellness reimbursement program)

Responsibilities/Job Description Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence.Encourages resident participation, and reports changes in residents' mood and physical status.Promotes independence and helps develop socializationTakes initiative to engage residents and find commonalities to connect onDrives community bus/vanOther duties as assigned by Activities Director Qualifications

Required:

Current MN RN license or by start dateAHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS) 

Preferred:
