This dual Life Enrichment Assistant/Culinary Assistant role supports the planning and implementation of quality event/therapuetic programs, designed to assist senior Assisted Living and Memory Care residents in maintaining their personal potential physically, socially, and mentally. This role also supports our Culinary department by providing dining room meal service and maintining supplies in the kitchenettes at our Northern Lakes senior living community in Baxter, MN.

Responsibilities/Job Description Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence.Encourages resident participation, and reports changes in residents' mood and physical status.Promotes independence and helps develop socializationOther duties as assigned by Activities DirectorServes prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and invitingPromotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal serviceSanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains suppliesAssists with meal prep and special eventsProvides kitchen support when needed with dish washing and cleaning of floorsAnswers phones and communicates requests appropriately QualificationsRequired Skills:
