A Day in the Life of a Life Enrichment Partner at Park Centre:  

Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, dental and mouth care, facial hair removal, eyewear and hearing devices, toileting and bathing as needed.  Routinely conducts resident checks in accordance with nursing procedures.  Maintains privacy by knocking before entering a resident’s room.  Assists with resident requests and provides a comfortable and safe environment. Notifies residents of meal times and/or assists residents to the proper dining locations, serves meals to residents, and assists with feeding and cleanup of residents as appropriate.  Observes and reports changes in resident condition including cognitive/emotional status.    Notifies the charge nurse and/or supervisor prior to leaving the area for any reason, including end of the shift. Escorts residents and coordinates transportation needs.  Participates in and provides support during resident-centered activities. With medication manager certification, will assist with administration of medication, including monitoring medication supplies and documentation.
