The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Life and Annuity back-office functions including policy issuance, policy servicing, claims, premium application and disbursements. Additional exposure to mailroom and contact center operations a plus. Experience either as an employee of an insurance carrier or multiple projects as a consultant required. This role is based in our CGI Office in Hartford, CT, New Brunswick NJ, Plymouth Meeting, NY, NY, and Lafayette, LA in a Hybrid Model. **Your future duties and responsibilities:** • Lead the analysis of Life and Annuity operations including processes, staffing/organization, performance metrics, etc. • Document/clarify business rules and process flows. • Identify opportunities to rationalize, automate, and improve operations. • Create executive-level deliverables including reports and presentations with recommendations and justifications. • Support IT teams in identifying automation and other systems-related opportunities for improvement. **Required qualifications to be successful in this role:** • At least 5 years hands-on experience with Life/Annuity operations. • Demonstrated experience generating written materials such as Standard Operating Procedures, Performance Reports, Process documentation, etc. . • Prior experience as an employee of an insurance carrier and/or multiple projects as a consultant • Formal training in processes improvement including six sigma, lean, etc. desirable. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. • Professional credentials (FLMI, ALMI, ICA) are strongly preferred. • Ability to work independently as well as within a team Desired: • Additional exposure to mailroom and contact center operations a plus. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $88,200.00 - $234,300.00 .
