Position Purpose: The Transportation Attendant supports the safe and comfortable transport of PACE/LIFE participants to and from appointments, promoting their safety and well-being while ensuring timely and accurate communication with the team.
What You Will Do:
Assist drivers in transporting participants, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Accompany participants to medical appointments, providing support with ambulation, toileting, and ensuring their comfort.Maintain constant communication with the center and Transportation Supervisor regarding participant status.Perform daily vehicle cleaning and sanitization, assisting in the transport of supplies and mail.Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address participant needs and report concerns promptly.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (transportation and human services experience preferred).At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail populations, or completion of training within the PACE organization.CPR training or willingness to complete training.Valid driver's license in good standing preferred.Must meet the Employee Medical Statement requirements (State of North Carolina).Position Highlights and Benefits:
