Emerson is looking for a Lifecycle Service Co-op for Spring/Summer to join our Marshalltown, IA team. This is an outstanding chance to gain real-world experience in a collaborative environment while working on projects that will truly make a difference. This position is a temporary 8-month co-op assignment from January 2025-August 2025.
As a Lifecycle Service Co-Op you will help build tools to take existing data and transform into usable information to better manage our services, parts and MRO business. We will also empower you to help develop the process for managing a variety of digital tools, by consolidating and removing unnecessary duplication, improving and standardizing existing tools. In addition, this position will assist in developing analytics of tool use and streamlining our processes. We need people with strong communication skills willing to bring creative new ideas to solving the problems faced daily by our Lifecycle Service and Parts teams!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Build out a tool that estimates the service, parts and MRO opportunity for a given region/territory utilizing inputs from our digital installed base, industry mix, capabilities, Shutdown, Turnaround and Outage (STO) maintenance event pursuit funnel, etc. Analytics for the STO Dashboard including optimizing data inputs. Automate STO for quarterly reports for World Areas review meetings Building Accredited Service Provider (ASP) metrics dashboard that combines global inputs and provide base analytics support on the information and trends. Vendavo profit analyzer KPI’s and dashboards setup ASP Portal: automating workflow for new user setup, adding documents, and improved user experience. World Area parts program KPI tracking Be your own project manager, developing protypes and conducting UI/UX surveys and stakeholder meetings. Work with Lifecycle Services and Parts teams to evaluate and understand existing data tools. Collect feedback and data analysis on current tools and problems faced by our teams and develop a project management strategy for prioritizing future work. Create test plans and automate them to ensure high quality releases. Document development work and provide roadmap for future initiatives.Who You Are:

Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university Required Major(s): Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Java and Microsoft Windows programming skills desired Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Possess strong organizational skills and ability to contribute in a team environment Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Spring/Summer (January 2025- August 2025) Co-op experience in Marshalltown, IA.
