Position Summary:

Under the director of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will be expected to perform the following duties at the Memorial pool.


Lifeguard Memorial Pool

Expected to open and close pool area depending on schedule worked.Perform setup and take down of equipment depending on upcoming daily events or pool usage.Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in or around the pool.Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

NLS lifeguarding certification requiredStandard First Aid C certification required

Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day-to-day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing

(AMUSE B) $17.20
