Are you ready to dive into a rewarding role where safety meets service? **HealthFitness** is seeking **Part-Time Lifeguards** to join our dynamic aquatics team at our corporate client site in **Anna, Ohio** . If you’re passionate about water safety and enjoy creating a welcoming environment, this is your chance to make a real impact—while working up to 15 hours per week in a professional, community-focused setting. Part-time, ~15 hours/week **Perks to joining our team:** + Free membership to onsite fitness center and pool. + Access to discounted Lifeguard training course through the Red Cross. + Flexible scheduling. **Key Accountabilities** + Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities. + Enforce and explain rules as necessary. + Respond appropriately to any emergency. + Attend all required staff meetings and training. + Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by cleaning and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members. + Maintain a professional attitude. + Other duties as needed/assigned. **Minimum Requirements** + Must be at least 16 years old. + Must have or be willing to obtain an American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification. _*Site can provide training at discounted rate._ + Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards. + Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills. + Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. All lifeguards must be able to perform basic lifeguard skills consisting of: + 300 yard swim. + Active, Passive, Submerged rescues. + Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water. + Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program. Compensation: $12/Hour - $16/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
