LifeSavers Processing Operator
12-hour Night Shift following a 223 Rotating Schedule
The LifeSavers Processing Operator is responsible for operating automated and/or manual manufacturing equipment used to produce LifeSavers following the established manufacturing procedures and prescribed formulas with exactness. The LifeSavers Processing Operator will perform daily job requirements to include but not limited to, running all equipment used to process LifeSavers, cleaning and stocking, and communicating upstream and downstream to ensure adherence to production schedule.
Job Accountabilities:
Perform general housekeeping duties in the LifeSavers processing departmentComplete frequent observation of work-in-process and the completion of required recording, such as Quality Control Point sheetsIndependently operate processing machines and produce a quality LifeSaver product in a team-based environmentThis position will be required to cross train in various positions in the LifeSavers processing departments This position requires the ability to operate all processing jobs in LifeSaversParticipate in MSE progression through the AM model or Focused Improvement Loss ProjectsSkills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Basic math skills required to calculate ingredientsPallet jack operationParticipate as a team player in accomplishing all company goals and objectivesMixing or related experience preferredHigh sense of urgency and accountabilityHigh Level of demonstrated problem-solving capabilityExperience with computers and touch screen tabletsExperience in TPM/Lean Manufacturing a plusExperience with MS Office Products and Outlook a plusSupports and understands the business, department and line goalsOther responsibilities and duties as assignedPhysical requirements:
