Role summary:
Hogarth California is looking for a Photoshop Artist with a solid understanding of the
technical side of complex layer structures and effects in Photoshop. This role will work
closely with Senior Photoshop Artist & Manager of Image Studio.
Key responsibilities:
Work with the Creatives, Producers, and Lead Photo Retouchers within the Image Production Studio to color correct and retouch raw photography Thorough understanding of Camera Raw and non-destructive retouching techniques Well organized file structure. Manage a high-volume, high-quality workload Familiarity with Photoshop automation via scripts and Actions. Reports to Lead Photo Retoucher and/or Studio Manager
Technical Skills:
BA or BS degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or a similar field. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in retouching photos or a graphics production-related field Strong attention to details, ability to manage multiple projects at once and keep track of milestones and deliverables Comprehensive understanding of photo retouching, including Camera Raw and non- destructive editing techniques Clear understanding of scale, proportion, and perspective Fluency in MacOS environment, including server access and file management
Organizational Competencies:
Works well in partnership with others, particularly Creative and Production Design personnel, and maintains professional demeanor under pressure and in situations of ambiguity Communicates fully, effectively, and diplomatically, and exhibits proactive, solution- oriented thinking and execution Has an adaptable, focused, and efficient demeanor
Requirements:
BA or BS degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or a similar field.
