Lifestyle Associate Producer

WBFF has an immediate opening for a Bmore Lifestyle Associate Producer in our award-winning Creative Services department.  The ideal candidate has non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred) and is extremely detail oriented and organized.  Experience producing news or daily/weekly local programming, writing experience, and videography experience (Canon DSLR preferred) a helpful. Must be able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. This team member will book and produce/edit sponsored and some non-sponsored show segments for our 30-minute weekly Lifestyle show.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and book national and locals guests and client appearances on the Bmore Lifestyle program Write interview scripts/questions for in-studio or Zoom live or recorded segments Prepare graphics, footage, and other assets for interview segments Coordinate and produce field shoots for recorded segments Edit packages for program segments as needed Operate studio camera and floor direct in the absence of studio production personnel Greet studio guests and coordinate their studio appearance Act as liaison between creative services, sales, news, and clients Edit sponsorship billboards for program as needed Digitize, tag, and distribute promotional and marketing materials as needed Digitize and distribute video airchecks to Sales staff  Manage sponsored segment compliance tracker Manage show booking calendar and the program’s internal Sharepoint page Select, edit and post social content to social accounts and website Attend Sales meetings and training as needed Assist promotion and marketing team with marketing the program as needed Participate in station sponsored promotional events as needed Perform duties of other team members in their absence Assist Creative Services Director and Promotion Managers with administrative work as needed Other responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum of one to two years of television promotion, production company, or commercial production experience is required Proficiency with newsroom and TV station network infrastructures preferred.  Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software is a major plus (Photoshop, After Effects). Experience with Microsoft 365 is required Superb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication abilities Proven ability to work collaboratively with news talent, sales and clients Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills are a must Experience with studio operations and iNews is a plus Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record The ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs A college degree in Communications or Journalism

 

The hourly compensation range for this role is $18.50 to $20.10.  Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
