Job Overview:
The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for the daily activity at the Club entrance, resident facility rentals, facilities, planning and coordinating lifestyle community and events. This position assists and provides supports to the General Manager, both the General Manager and Lifestyle Team on the planning, implementation, coordination and oversight of creative, customized community events, resident engagement activities, and other programs to enhance the lifestyle experience of the residents. In addition, this position will also have administration duties assisting department managers as directed.
Compensation: $20-24/hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate all volunteer members, vendors, on-site events, and social media and web pages. Implements new and creative events to excel membership attendance and family-oriented activities within the community. Maintain high-level customer service and hospitality both internally and externally. File all required permits with the City of Chino for all community events Responsible for all community communications, fliers, signage, etc., to align with community branding Promote the community's current and upcoming events via newsletters, emails, and advertisements within the clubhouse. Create a bi-monthly newsletter for the Association Monitor and oversee the master community events and activities calendar as needed and ensure accuracy for posting on the community bulletin boards and website Create and implement survey tools and processes to identify resident interest in community event activities and recreational programs. Communicate with supervisor and staff on all logistics involved in each event, stating the role each person is responsible for, and follow through with meeting needs. Monitor monthly expenditures on all community events, activities, recreational programs, etc., to ensure expense management, accurate coding, and compliance with budget limits. Create and update event P&L reports for pre- and post-events Handle internal and external complaints when applicable Maintain vendor relations and ensure that service standards are maintained. Attend and participate in In Board meetings as required Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Proficient In English Strong ethical practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong Internal/external customer relation skills required with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, members, and other stakeholders Excellent general math skills Demonstrates organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, Implement, and monitor progress for successful completion Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Demonstrates attention to detail Demonstrates awareness of variables that affect association retention and or morale Excellent attendance and punctuality Working knowledge of Canva, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher Ability to work with a team as well as Individually when necessary Ability to de-escalate situations Ability to problem solve
Education & Experience:
High School Degree required. College degree preferred Recreation and/or management experience preferred
Physical Requirements & Working Environment:
Must be able to lift 25lbs Ability to lift, push, and move equipment and furniture Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, guests, supervisors, associates, and vendors Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person In order to resolve Issues related to the business. Must have finger dexterity for typing/using the keyboard Must be mobile enough to move around the office and during outside events, including walking or uneven surfaces and standing for long periods of time. Ability to work with Inside and outside environmental elements (noise, weather, etc.) Ability to work around pool equipment and chemicals
