Job Summary/Description:

Live and Play in one of the fastest-growing cities in the Nation. The weather isn’t bad either. WBTV 3 in Charlotte, NC is looking for a creative and engaging host/segment producer for its weekday lifestyle shows, QC Morning & QC@3. The Lifestyle show host/segment producer is responsible for hosting and co-hosting the program, conducting in-studio interviews as well as on-location live shots. If you know how to create engaging sponsored and creative content on all platforms, this is the gig for you. The ideal candidate has a great personality, an on-air presence, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Host in studio and on location for QC morning & QC @3 under the QC life brand.
- Produce, shoot, and create engaging creative and sponsored content for sales clients on-air and digitally.
- Collaborate with the QC producers to develop and implement effective show strategies.
- Help book and prioritize guest segments and stories.
- Assisting producers with writing show segments.
- Greeting and assisting guests during show preparations.
- Research show topics and develop questions for guests in coordination with show producers.
- Interviewing show guests/clients both in the studio and on location.
- Stay up to date with Charlotte area events and culture.
- Assist with all digital content including social media pages for the show.
- Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of digital programs & social media strategies
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Ability to shoot on multiple camera types
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Available to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Charlotte, NC
