FOX40 is looking for a live television producer for our well-established lifestyle program, Studio40 Live.  Studio40 Live is a fun, high-energy show that airs Monday-Friday.  The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with the ability to creatively solve problems under demanding timelines.  They should also have a knack for finding fresh ideas for content, for both on air and social media. The ideal candidate should possess strong writing and communication skills. This position works closely with multiple departments and should be able to adapt and work with different personality types.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Produce daily segments and packages for weekday showsOrganize show content in a cohesive sequence to engage and grow the audienceEnsure daily production is highly produced, teases are strong, and content adheres to prioritiesBook and schedule as-live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and segmentsEvaluate entertainment and cultural value of stories for broadcast and webWork closely with Sales to integrate & schedule sponsored client segmentsWork with production team on recording schedules and show managementAttend daily content meetings, provide timely feedback, and make solid decisionsHands-on oversight of a show Monday – FridayBuild relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors 

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of live booth experience Ability to pre-produce stories on time and on brandMust have strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize meeting tight deadlinesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to shoot and edit is a plusExperience with ENPS, Ross XPression and Streamline, and Adobe Premiere Pro a plusA leader with a sales background and a solid list of contacts in the Sacramento area is strongly desired

Compensation - $26.50+/hr commensurate with experience and skill level
