Job Summary/Description:

KMOV's Lifestyles Producer is responsible for creating, coordinating, and producing the daily My St. Louis LIVE show. The Show Producer writes scripts, builds show rundowns, books guests, and helps create content for the show.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- Content creation - coordinates story development with the Host/reporter
- Show production - creates production elements, show/story flow
- Books guests, maintains the show calendar, and creates content for My St. Louis LIVE
- Booth producing - coordinates live elements with the staff, builds show rundowns -- creates lower thirds, and timing shows during the broadcast
- Produces engaging social media and digital content, including Facebook and Instagram reels, daily social posts, and eye-catching graphs. Manages social media giveaways/contests
- Ability to develop a creative, fast-paced show that interests viewers
- Maintains the show website
- Assists with the production of Great Day St. Louis and serves as backup Producer for that show in the absence of the Producer.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or Communications
- Minimum two years of producing or production support for a TV or Cable station
- Experience with Edius, i-news, internet production tools, MS Office
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with others
- Self-starter with the ability to follow through on projects until completion
- Must be energetic, positive, and great in a team environment
- Must have the ability to stay up to date on current events: what's popular, trendy, will be interesting to our audience
