Lift Operators are responsible for safely unloading & strategically moving intermodal containers within the yard. **Responsibilities** • Stacks and unstacks intermodal containers & chassis • Unload and load Intermodal containers from and on to chassis • Follows the established yard plan when stacking containers and chassis • Works with the gate in handling drivers dropping off and picking up equipment • Supports the shop for the repair of chassis and containers • Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** • Must be at least 18 years old • Ability to always follow safety requirements and practices • Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening o The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited.
