Lift Greeter and Grouper
Overview Work with Guests in lift lines to ensure a smooth, efficient and enjoyable lift line experience by making sure the lift line is flowing, people are grouping together and chairs are full. The position will need to interact in a fun and pleasant manner with the guests to make sure they are moving and grouping together with other guests. Responsibilities Exhibits excellent guest interactions by being courteous, efficient, being a strong communicator, being reliable, patient and friendly. Ensure a smooth lift line. Making sure the Guests are grouping together to maximize lift capacity and if they are not, working with them to make sure they do in a very pleasant manner. Provide guidance to guests to access lift load area in a pleasant, orderly, fair fashion. Travel safely between lifts, be apprised of daily conditions, safety concerns, events and any developments to operate efficiently. Maintains and enhances a guest focused culture in the lift lines and outside of that area as well. Work with the Lift Operations group to make sure the overall lift experience is exceptional. Continually look for better and more efficient ways for the lift line experience to improve and be exceptional Require at least 100 hours, 20 of which are designated high priority such as Christmas vacation mid-week days, Martin Luther King Monday, and February vacation mid-week days. Regular working days are Saturdays, Sundays and vacation periods noted above starting @ December 14 and ending @ March 30th. RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY: Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon Mountain Resort guests at all times. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures. Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others. Standing on/in snow and ice for up to and more than 5 hours at a time in the all outdoor winter weather conditions.
