Are you an experienced Platform and Microlift Installer looking for your next challenge? Stannah is looking to recruit a Lift Installer to join the Platform and Microlifts division.

As the Lift Installer, you will play a crucial role in installing and commissioning a variety of lift models, ensuring all work meets the highest quality and safety. Ideally we are looking for a candidate located in the Midlands, however, travel throughout the UK is to be expected.

You'll be responsible for carrying out installations on-site, liaising with builders, and conducting risk assessments. You'll also have the opportunity to train Trainee Installers, passing on your expertise to the next generation of skilled professionals.

Lift Installer Job Responsibilities:

Install and commission lifts in line with company standardsConduct site safety checks, risk assessments, and liaise with site agentsAssist with unloading and installing lift components, including erection of structures, wiring, and fitting doorsComplete necessary documentation and handovers, ensuring all work is finished to a high standardCarry out basic electrical fault-finding, testing, and commissioning of liftsTrain Fitter’s Mates and Trainee Installers on-site

Lift Installer Job Requirements:

Proven experience installing platform lifts or similar productsProven ability to work independently and supervise othersStrong knowledge of health and safety regulationsBasic supervisory skills and a commitment to excellent customer serviceWillingness to train and mentor junior team membersFlexibility with working hours and locationNVQ Level 2 in Platform Installations
