Overview The Highlands is seeking a Lift Maintenance Assistant to help ensure the safe and efficient operation of all ski lift equipment. This role involves assisting with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to provide guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Able to stand and sit for long periods, use ladders, and work at variable heights up to 50 feet. Prepare and safety check lifts for daily operation before Lift Operations arrives. Be able to complete lift start-up procedures independently. Perform scheduled routine maintenance as well as diagnostic maintenance. Maximize safety within all aspects of the department. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Maintain certifications, licenses, and training as necessary. Assist with documentation using Manager Plus Application Be able to understand and follow all ANSI, State, and Federal Guidelines. Willing and able to participate in all maintenance needs. Maintain a positive attitude consistently, including during high-stress situations. Be able to work concurrently with all Resort staff and encourage a productive work environment. Qualifications Must have a valid Driver's License Must be at least 18 years old Experience in lift maintenance is preferred but not required. *Single Bed, no pets.
