Compensation and Benefits:

Job Summary: 

Killington/Pico Ski Resort is seeking Lift Operations Team Leaders to become a member of the largest lift operations team in the East! The Team Leader is responsible for the daily operation of the lifts in their assigned area and will provide direction, instruction, and guidance to the lift operators in that area.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

Train staff members for safe and efficient lift operationPrepare to stand and work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weatherAdapt to changing conditions and business levels with ease and have the ability to work independentlyCommunicate effectively as a member of a teamArrange transportation of staff to assigned liftsTroubleshoot lift and/or staffing issuesCollect daily lift reports and complete team leader reportsDocument lift incident reports and investigationsConduct weekly safety and training meetings and complete required documentationPerform other tasks as assigned

  

Basic Qualifications:

Excellent guest service skills with a passion for the mountainMinimum of 3 years of lift operations / with supervisory experience preferredMust have a valid driver's licenseIntermediate to advanced skiing/snowboarding ability18 years of ageReliable

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 Ability to learn quickly Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to build relationships Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds Ability to stand for long periods of time
