Four Hands is one of the largest home furnishing distributors in Austin, TX. We operate out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space. A role in our distribution center means being in the heart of getting products to our customers as quickly as possible. \n

Shift times between: 6am to 5pm
In This Role\nOperate on a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling\nUse RF scanners to accurately pick and verify inventory items for order fulfillment\nUnload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips to ensure accuracy\nPerform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and order pickers, and report any malfunctions or safety issues \nSafely place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners, maintaining organization and accuracy\nIdentify and process items on various paperwork, including customer orders, labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bills of lading \nFollow SOPs to ensure inventory quality and stay updated on procedure changes\nPerform routine checks to identify and address quality issues\nMeet productivity targets while managing resources effectively\nDocument and report inventory discrepancies using the internal corrective action reporting (ICAR) process and ensure accurate documentation\nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team \nOther duties as assigned by Management\n
The Ideal Person\n2+ years of experience operating forklift equipment, specifically an order picker\nHigh school diploma or GED required \nBasic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel\nAbility to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day, and lift up to 225 lbs with assistance\nContinuously walk, stand, stoop, bend, push, and reach in a warehouse environment\nStrong attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills \nComfortable working both independently and as part of a team\nRequired to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours\nWilling and able to work overtime as needed\n
