Principal Accountabilities

Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and stretch wrap machinesSupply materials as necessary to own area as well as other areasUnloading, loading, and stacking materials onto or off trucks, pallets, skids, or lifting devices, and controlling inventory to meet both internal and external customer needsFollow written or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.Make simple adjustments or repairs, maintenance, and lubrication of trucks.Open communication with peers and management to promote a teamwork-focused environment as well as developingCapable of all platform labor dutiesUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employerCargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facilityAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)     Basic use of a computer     Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)     Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)    Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice


Preferred Qualifications

Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systemsExperience working in a production-related workHigh school diploma/GED equivalentExperience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
