Responsibilities: As an Light Duty Repair Technician you will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. + Routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotation, etc. + Communication skills: explaining issues to customers encouraging to invest in repairs + Documenting repairs: maintain accurate records of repairs & equipment, including repair history + Reading work orders: understanding work orders & recording repairs correctly + Light repairs: tires, brakes, etc. + Carrying out repairs: Replacing parts, recalibrating systems, or overhauling machines ​ Qualifications: + Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile. + Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred. + NYS Inspectors license is a plus! + Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions. + Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. + A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service. + Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
