Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. BIA Law Enforcement Durant Bryan Zone A Hourly/ Non Exempt Non-Certified Police Officer $25.69 per hour Certified Police Officer - $26.33 per hour Evening Shift: 3 pm to 11 pm.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As A Lighthorse Police Officer, you will enforce all Tribal, State and Federal laws and rules to provide protection for individuals and property. You will report to Tribal Law Enforcement Management.
Primary Tasks:
You will conduct patrols of the assigned area(s).Investigate and write reports of motor vehicle collisions and criminal offenses.Prepare arrest cases and testify in court as a witness when called.Locate and take persons into custody on warrants, transport prisoners.You will escort funeral processes, parades, officials, and oversized vehicles.Attend department meetings, training courses, and conferences.Collaborate with other Police Departments to provide comprehensive services to the citizens of the Choctaw Nation.Observe unsafe conditions on the street such as obstructions, debris, icy bridges, high water, damage to pavement, inadequate or damaged traffic control devices and take appropriate action to correct them.Inform supervisor concerning matters of significance in their area(s) of patrol.Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
