ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Lighting Assistant, to assist the Lighting Directors in lighting productions, including tasks related to electricity.

YOUR DAY - DAY:

Hang light fixtures

Power light fixtures

Focus light fixtures

Troubleshoot problems such as loss of power or data

YOU HAVE:

Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems

General knowledge of lighting equipment, such as, lighting consoles, lighting fixtures including conventional, LED, and Intelligent Lighting

Familiarity with proper safety procedures, such as, use of harnesses and other personal protective equipment; correct use of lifts and lifting techniques

Knowledge and understanding of computerized lighting consoles specifically ETC Ion

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Ability to climb a ladder

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Must be able to perform work at heights above 30’
