In the role of Lighting Designer, we'll count on you to:Work under the guidance of a more-senior designer, and work with architectural project teams on all aspects of the art, science and business of lighting designTake responsibility for project lighting documentation, CAD/model production, presentation material and renderings, lighting calculations, energy and economic calculations, and building certification compliance credits.Perform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsIntern Lighting Certified (LC) through the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP)Master's degree in Architectural Lighting or Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design1 year experience or an internship with a lighting design, architectural/engineering, or engineering consulting firm that produced architectural lighting documentation.Experience with Healthcare, Science and Technology, Federal, or Entertainment facilities preferred.SketchUp, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Rhino, Grasshopper, DIVA, iRay

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering specializing in Lighting Design or closely related fieldStrong computer skills with core competencies using AGI32, eLumtools, Revit, AutoCad, and Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentAble to effectively prioritize multiple tasksEffective working individually and within team environmentsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
