What You Can Expect
As our Lighting Installation Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in developing, designing, and implementing energy-efficient lighting upgrades or retrofits for public sector clients. In this role you will be helping schools save money while improving the learning environment for students, or assisting local cities and counties in saving money and enhancing service to their constituents.
Daily, you will be managing the client relationships on multiple projects and will be responsible for lighting product selection, initial approval, specification, and final design approval for each project in development. Once the project has been developed, specified, and Notice to Proceed has been obtained, you will manage the suppliers and sub-contractors during the construction phase. This includes providing the ENGIE Project Manager (PM) with material part numbers, cut sheets, pricing and expected delivery schedule so the PM can create Purchase Order’s for the selected material vendor Once that step is completed you will provide scope of work and request pricing from sub-contractors so the PM can issue work orders to the contractors. Additionally you’ll manage the material deliveries so they arrive ahead of the contractor’s needs. You will oversee the contractor’s proper installation of material and control. During post-construction, you will manage the proper commissioning of all controls, oversee the return and credit of any incorrect or unused material, regularly communicate with the client to ensure client satisfaction and that they understand proper use of new controls.
This position will be in Remote, California in the central region and will report to the Project Management Director.
What You’ll Bring
You have a minimum of a four (4) year degree, where you have learned principles of analysis and modeling of solutions that can be applied to construction and business needs; relevant training and/or progressive industry experience will be considered in lieu of degree You have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience where you gained proficiency in lighting design, subcontractor negotiation, project scheduling, reporting skills, budget creation and management You have gained experience creating and giving presentations and professional communications, using Microsoft Office, Procore, SnapCount lighting retrofit software, or other project management tools, to create written reports, project updates, and reporting data for all stakeholders

Eligible for ENGIE Hybrid Work Schedule This role requires up to 40% travel with occasional overnight stays Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record travel to jobsites is required on occasion Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and satisfy customer’s needs Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions
Compensation
Salary Range: $99,100 – $ 151,800 USD Annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
