Lime Slaking - Customer Applications Specialist
**Responsibilities & Duties** + Collaborate with Sales and the customer to understand their technical requirements and provide optimal, tailored solutions. + Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop and implement effective solutions. + Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. + Partner with Sales Reps to build & maintain client relationships + Ensure seamless communication with sales and clients to meet and exceed client needs. + Review and comply with specifications and RFQ information + Development of conceptual solution to meet the clients’ needs + Development of overall budget and project timeline through collaboration with engineering + Consult and interact with vendors for proper equipment selection (technically) to satisfy client needs. + Prepare technical content for quotations (budgets, documentation and proposal) + Continuous interaction with Sales & client post proposal submittal to provide technical clarifications, inclusive of site visits as required + Comply with all ISO-9001 requirements + Moderate physical effort. Requires a moderate amount of sitting for prolonged periods of time while using the computer. + Travel requirement; 50%. **Job Qualifications** + 5+ years’ related experience + Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; Professional Engineer is an asset + Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Outgoing personality with customer focus mindset + Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively to progress several projects at once. + Highly motivated and driven + Solid understanding of chemical process engineering (lime industry) + Ability to make timely decisions from reading & listening to technical requirements + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite + Excellent communication skills to interact with technical & non-technical stakeholders **Benefits & Compensation** + Annual Salary Range: $105,000 to $130,000 + Paid holidays and vacation time + Group medical/pharmacy insurance options with company funded health care spending accounts + Dental insurance & Vision insurance + A 401k account with company matching contribution + Company-paid life insurance and short-term and long-term disability insurance + Options to purchase additional life insurance (employee, spouse, and child) and additional employee long-term disability insurance. + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Tuition benefits including professional certifications _About Us_ _READY TO JOIN A ROCK-SOLID FAMILY?_ Carmeuse started out as a small family-run business in Belgium.
