**Job Description:** Our **Cable Splicing Technicians** start off earning between **$14.25 to $28.56 per hour.** With our amazing wage opportunities, our average starting earnings begin at **$59,410 per year** . Connects repairs and rearranges cable conductors. Duties may include but are not limited to the following: 1) Splices and waterproofs coverings of various types. 2) Reviews, interprets and/or analyzes prints, diagrams or schematics. Receives work orders and instructions. 3) Uses hand tools and electrical and mechanical equipment. 4) Drives company vehicle. 5) Performs some repair and maintenance functions on outside plant facilities. 6) Positions SBC as the premier provider of choice. 7) Performs all other duties comparable to the above as assigned. 8) Wears and/or uses appropriate safety equipment and follows established safety practices and procedures.
