Position Summary:

This position is responsible for transporting passengers to and from their destinations in a safe and courteous manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

Keeps cars stocked and cleaned during shiftGenerates reports of all associated expensesFollows all Safety, DMV and highway rules and regulations

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

Makes minor repairs to vehicles, as neededInforms management of guest service issues

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalentMust have a minimum of six months of driving experience in the transportation industry Must have a valid driver’s license with Public Service Endorsement and must be insurable through the company carrierMust maintain an up- to-date medical card

Competencies:  Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent guest service skillsSelf motivated and able to work with little or no supervision

Training Requirements:

All required safety and regulatory trainingAbility to operate various types of vehicles, including the use of manual transmissionsSMART alcohol awareness

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbsMust be able to stand and sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptionsMust be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditionsMust be able to regularly visit all work related areas in TransportationMust be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
