Your Role

 

The LIMS Program Manager position oversees the implementation and maintenance of the LIMS computer systems software. This position works as a collaborative team member and leader to establish department goals and objectives to drive business results and a continuous improvement culture. This quality group consists of less than 10 Data Analysist personnel, and supports the overall site operations team, a €1.1 billion franchise.

 

Duties Include:

 

Manage implementation and maintenance of LIMS computer system for use in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment.Expand use of LIMS system functionality according to digitial roadmap. Create and revise documentation associated with the LIMS environment.Organize and deliver training and educational materials. Provide guidance on user curriculum.Train and develop employees with regards to LIMS.Promote safety and professional standards within the department as a top priority.Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks and workflow to meet LIMS project goals.Continually evaluate and monitor LIMS performance within the laboratory environment to ensure optimum functionality.Maintain continuous communication with lab management and staff to ensure LIMS procedures and policies are followed, well-understood and concernsare effectively resolved.Effectively interface with support functions, Quality, Validation, Operations, Planning, and Global LIMS team.Participate in continuous improvement projects as assigned.Focus on and maintain systems FDA compliance. Earn trusted status and develop relationships within the site that extend beyond the project's lifecycle.

 

Physical Requirements

 

Exposure to machinery, chemical reagents, biological materials at Biosafety Levels 1 and 2, and equipment in a laboratory environment.Standing and/or sitting for duration of shift, up to 12 hours.Work in a clean room environment.

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or GED.3+ years of professional experience in the Life Sciences industry.3+ years’ leadership experience in project/program.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any discipline. 2+ years of LIMS project management experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate successfully in a cross functional environment.Demonstrated success in building LIMS or equivalent information management systems from concept through implementation and operation.
